Concept and Intermedia I – II

This course Conceptual and Intermedia introduces conceptual approaches in creative process to students, to enrich their work with intermedia and multimedia techniques, nevertheless to experience real freedom of creating. Students learn about contextual art movements and artist corresponding to their projects. The work in team on projects is encouraged. The hands-on work projects are followed by lecture to explain broader and deeper context in fine art for easier navigation through the contemporary fine art.

This course is the part of art and aesthetic education of future IT specialists, many of them become graphic and digital designers, web designers and programmers - the professions, which influences aesthetics of today’s information society through its visual communication and information design.
